What are the Preparatory Poses in Yoga

As name suggests, preparatory poses prepare your body, internally and externally, and create required stamina to perform the variety of asanas in the Yoga. Asanas create a lot of strain on different organs of the body such as knees, ankles, heels, thighs, abdomen, spine, neck, and a lot of other internal and external parts depending upon the pose you are practicing . To do the yoga practices, you body should be flexible enough to bend and curve in any direction. At first, it seems quite achievable by just looking at the pose, however, performing the pose is altogether different ballgame.

Even there are preparatory poses which help you to create strength to proceed with the basic yogic practices.
